Working with CollectPlaza Excel

1. Register shop in CollectPlaza (skip this step if you already have a shop registered)

If you are not registered in CollectPlaza system, goto "MyShop" and click "Register".

Fill the "User registration" form, and click "Register" button at the bottom of the screen.

You will receive registration confirmation email. In the email click on confirmation link.

After confirmation, in "MyShop" fill the "Shop profile" form.

2. Download Excel file

Right-click on http://www.collectplaza.com/myshop.xls and select "Save Target As..." to download the file.

3. Open downloaded file

When you open the file, you will be asked about macros.
Click "Enable macros".

You will be asked to download items from website.
Click "Yes" to download already filled items from website.

Enter CollectPlaza login and pasword.

All items from your shop will be downloaded and placed in workbook "Products".

4. Fill the items

Row-by-row fill new item data.
Category, Title, Description, Quality and Price fields are mandatory.

For new items ID field MUST be blank. Make sure that you do not change ID for downloaded (existing) items.

To assign pictures - double click on row and there will popup small picture window, in picture window double click on empty picture and in file selection dialog select picture. If pictures were already assigned and you want to replace them - double click on picture and in file selection dialog select another. To remove picture - click on picture and press "delete" button on keyboard

5. Save the file

Save excel file.

You will be asked to upload items to website.
Click "Yes" to upload items to website.

New pictures will be uploaded and all items in your shop updated.

CollectPlaza Excel FAQ

I already have some items filled. Will these items be sinchronized with excel file?

Yes. When Excel is started, old items will be downloaded. After saving the file old and new entered items will be updated.

How to upload pictures using this excel file.

Double-click on item in excel file and there will appear small window displaing pictures attached to selected item.
In this pictures window double-click on existing picture or empty space and select image file from your computer.
Newly attached pictures will be uploaded to website during save action.

I have filled 12 items, but only 8 was uploaded

Category, Title, Description, Quality and Price fields are mandatory.
Items will be skipped if any of these columns are empty.
